NWL U12 Girls Premiers 2023
On Sunday 3 September, our North West Lightning U12 girls took on Canada Bay in the U12YG Blue Grand Final. Our NWL girls came away with a 45 – 23 win to claim the premiership! This premiership marks the very first premiership for any North West Lightning team.
It was a really tight contest for much of the game, with only 5 points separating the two sides at half time. Our NWL girls kicked away in the third quarter and never looked back.
Coach Daniel said it was the best game of girls footy he’d seen in years and who are we to argue?!
