LIFE MEMBER – STEVE WALL

Steve Wall was awarded life membership of the Hornsby Berowra Eagles at our recent club presentation day.

  • Steve was a player at the club from 1996 – 2000, playing in excess of 50 games & likely getting very close to 100 games (the records from back then are a little sketchy!)
  • Steve returned to the club when his eldest son joined Auskick in 2016. He wasted no time getting involved commencing coaching & coordinating Auskick that year and continuing with that role through to 2018.
  • Steve then coached junior teams from 2019 – 2022.
  • Steve was awarded the Adrian Browne Leadership Award in 2019.
  • Steve stepped up to take over the presidency of the club in 2022; a year in which the club took out AFL Sydney Juniors (Sydney Harbour) Club of the Year. His presidency has continued into 2023, a year which has seen record club participation numbers.
  • Steve is a man who dedicates enormous amounts of time to the club and it’s fair to say he loves his association with the Eagles.
